Activities
Winkies children's activity play and party centre has a varied programme of activities and seasonal special events for babies, toddlers, big kids and grown ups too! Including:
- Allsorts
Mondays 3.45pm – 5.15pm- A play session exclusively for children with special needs and their families. This is a multi agency partnership with The Carer’s Resource, Barnardos, Social, Education and Health Services.
- Additional session for babies and pre school children with disabilities.
- Baby Ballet
Wednesday 2pm and Thursday at 10.45am- For teeny boys and girls who love to dance. The children have half an hour of dance instruction led by Claire our fully qualified dance teacher of the Starlight Stage Academy followed by an optional half an hour of free playtime.
- Baby Sing and Sign
Mondays 10am- Combining sign language with nursery rhymes, music and movement to have fun and help your baby communicate.
- Bob’s Your Uncle School of Magic
Wednesdays 4-5pm- Join the north of England’s first junior school of magic with Bob’s Your Uncle top family entertainer and magician. Learn how to perform and develop magic tricks building confidence and having lots of fun.
- Singamgigs
Fridays at 10.15am- A fun and educational music and song session for pre schoolers and their carers.
- French For Fidgets
Tuesdays at 1.30pm- Fun stories, games, snacks and puppets in French!
- Baby Loves Disco
Wednesday mornings- Dust off those dancing shoes and party in our Star Factory every Wednesday morning!
- Let’s get Crafty
Various days and times- Once a month join Nicola to design and create super arts and crafts with your little one, including hand printing, t-shirt painting and glass painting.
Throughout the year Winkies leads the way with fantastic themed parties for Halloween, Christmas and Valentines with fancy dress, party games, music and prizes!
We have a regular newsletter promoting special events and offers such as ladies shopping evenings and loyalty card discounts.
